Art-Asahi Process Systems Pvt. Ltd.

Our workshop is at Plot No. 668 in the GIDC Industrial Estate. We have been working out of this same shed for quite a few years now. We go by Art-Asahi Process Systems, but most people just call us by the name on the front gate. We deal with various process systems here. It is mostly technical stuff that involves a lot of pipes, valves, and metal frames. The floor is usually covered in parts that are waiting to be put together for the next project. We have a small group of guys working here. Most of them have been with us for a long time. It can be a long commute for some of them, but they show up every morning. The GIDC area is always loud with trucks moving and machines running next door. We try our best to stay organized, but when we get a big order in, the whole place turns into a bit of a mess for a few weeks. We spend a lot of time double-checking measurements because if a pipe is even slightly off, it won't fit right later on. It’s a headache when that happens. Our office is just a small corner with a couple of old desks and computers that sometimes give us trouble. We drink a lot of tea and spend time looking over hand-drawn sketches. It isn't a very exciting job to outsiders, but it keeps us on our toes. Most customers find us through people they know.
