Anant Engineering Works

Anant Engineering Works is our small shop at Plot No 992-2-22 in the Gidc Industrial Estate in Makarpura, Vadodara. We have been in the 390010 area for many years now. The shop floor is always covered in metal shavings and there is a constant smell of machine oil in the air. We have some old lathes and milling machines that have seen better days, but they still get the job done if you know how to handle them. We are not the kind of company that has a clean lobby or air conditioning. We work with our hands and usually end the day with grease under our fingernails. Most of our guys have been doing this work since they were young. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to manage a social media page. People just find us through word of mouth or because they know we are here in Makarpura. Sometimes the drawings customers bring us are just hand-drawn on a piece of paper, and we have to sit down and figure out how to make it work. It is noisy and hot in the summer, but that is just part of being in an engineering shop. We just want to do our work and keep the machines running. There isn't much more to it than that. We are just a bunch of workers who know how to handle metal.
