Acme Electronics is tucked away at 780/A in the G.I.D.C. Industrial Estate over in Makarpur. It’s an older part of the estate, but it suits us just fine. We work on various electronic components and boards, so the space is filled with benches, soldering irons, and lots of small parts that are easy to lose if you aren't careful. The lighting in the workshop is bright because we need to see what we are doing with those tiny wires. It’s a different kind of work compared to the heavy metal shops down the road. It’s quieter, though you can still hear the traffic from the main road nearby. We’ve been at this address for a good while, and the walls show it. There are stains and marks from years of work, and the shelves are crowded with old manuals and spare parts we might need someday. We don’t really have a marketing team or anyone to make the place look like a showroom. It’s just a workshop where things get repaired or assembled. Most people who drop by are regulars who know exactly where 780/A is. The parking is a bit tight, especially on Mondays, so we usually just squeeze the bikes in wherever they fit. It’s a simple operation, run by people who know electronics. We keep our heads down and stay busy with whatever job is on the bench that day. Everything is practical and geared toward getting the work finished.
