Running Kiran Electronics out here in the Gidc Estate in Makarpura means there is always a lot of noise coming from the neighboring units. Our shop at Plot 64/635 in Parth Bhumi-1 is usually full of spare parts and half-finished projects. If you walk in, you will likely see a couple of us hunched over a workbench with soldering irons. The air usually smells a bit like hot metal and dust, which is just how an electronics place should be, I guess. We have been in this spot for a good bit of time now. The commute through the estate can be a bit of a headache with all the trucks, but we are used to it. We handle a lot of different repairs and sometimes people bring in things that are so old we have to hunt for parts in the back corners of our storage. It is funny how much stuff people hold onto. We do not have any fancy displays or a big sales floor. Most of our space is taken up by tools and components that we need for the day-to-day work. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are always going full speed. We know most of the other shop owners around Parth Bhumi-1, so we often end up chatting over tea when things slow down. It is a basic setup, but it works for what we do.
