We are based in Baroda, right across from the Cholhandi Shak Market at Maruti Apartments. Being near a vegetable market means it is always noisy and full of life from very early in the morning. You can hear the vendors calling out and the smell of fresh produce is everywhere. Our office is in unit number four. It is a straightforward retail management setup for the Liverpool brand. We don't have a lot of extra space, but it works for what we need to do. The location is actually quite convenient because everyone in the area knows where the Shak Market is, so we never have to give long directions to delivery drivers. The building itself, Maruti Apartments, is one of those older structures that has seen plenty of summers. We handle the retail operations from here, keeping track of inventory and making sure the shops are getting what they need. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, nothing too glamorous. The team here is small and we’ve worked together for a long time. During the afternoon heat, things quiet down a bit in the market, and that’s usually when we get our most focused work done. We are just a local branch doing our part to keep the retail chain moving. It’s a busy life here in Baroda, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep our heads down and get through the daily checklist.
