We’re located over in Alkapuri, at number 38 in the Nutan Bharat Society. It’s a nice area of Vadodara, a bit more residential than some of the industrial zones where our clients are. Our office is where the engineering and planning happen. It’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of technical drawings spread out. We focus on process technologies, which means a lot of meetings and phone calls to sites across the country. We’ve been in this building for quite some time. It doesn't look like a typical big corporate headquarters. It feels more like a lived-in space where people actually work. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a fountain. Usually, you’ll just see us hunched over our screens or arguing over a design in the conference room. The street outside is fairly quiet, which helps when we need to concentrate on complex calculations. Lunch is often ordered in or we go to a small place nearby. We aren't really into the whole corporate branding thing; we just care about the engineering being right. Sometimes the deadlines get tight and we stay late, but that’s the nature of the job. It’s a steady pace of work. We’ve grown a bit over the years, but the atmosphere remains pretty grounded and simple. We just keep our focus on the drawings and the technical details that keep everything moving.
