Laxmi Engineering Works

If you’re looking for us, we’re located at Royal Tower in Vadsar, specifically at 928 2. It’s a bit of a trek to get here depending on where you’re coming from, but we’ve been here a long time. Laxmi Engineering Works isn't a big factory or anything; it’s more of a workshop where we handle mechanical repairs and fabrication. We have a couple of lathes and a milling machine that have seen better days, but they still run fine if you know how to handle them. I usually spend my mornings checking the schedules and seeing which parts need to be turned or cut. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of scrap metal piled up in the corners, but we know where everything is. It’s mostly just loud noises and the smell of cutting oil. We get all sorts of people coming in with broken machinery, hoping we can weld something back together. Sometimes we can, sometimes it’s too far gone. We don’t make any big promises, we just look at the piece and tell you what we think can be done. It’s just a few of us working here, and we usually eat our lunch together on the back bench. It’s a decent way to earn a living, even if the work is heavy and the hours are long. We just keep the machines oiled and wait for the next job to walk through the door.
