L. S. Brothers & Engineering Co. is at 886/3 in the Gidc Estate over in Makarpura. This place has been around for a long time and you can tell by the look of the walls. We are an engineering shop through and through. The floors are stained with oil and there is always the smell of cut metal in the air. We don't really do the whole corporate office thing. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the shop floor rather than sitting behind a desk. We’ve got a mix of old machines that still run great and some newer stuff we picked up recently. Makarpura is a big industrial hub, so we are surrounded by other people doing similar things. It makes it easy to find parts or get help if a machine breaks down. We’ve had some of the same staff for over a decade. They know exactly how things should run. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit behind because we are focused on the actual engineering, but we catch up eventually. It’s a family-style environment even though it’s a company. We don’t put on any acts for visitors. What you see is what you get. Just a bunch of people working hard to make parts that fit and last. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s usually when we take a breather. It’s a long day usually but we like the work we do here.
