Kris International

Kris International is located at A-17 in Balaji Nagar, which is right off Waghodiya Road here in Vadodara. It is a pretty busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our door. The office is basically just a regular space where we spend most of our hours. We have some computers that are a few years old and a stack of ledgers that seem to never get smaller no matter how much we work. We handle a lot of international stuff, which mostly means we are on the phone or checking emails at odd hours because of the time differences. It gets a bit noisy during the evening rush hour when everyone is trying to get home, but inside we just keep our heads down. We have got a small kitchen area where we make tea, and that is usually where most of the actual talking happens during the day. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but nobody really has the time to move all the furniture around for that right now. We know the neighbors pretty well, and the guy at the corner shop knows exactly how we like our tea. It is not a corporate skyscraper or anything like that, just a practical place for us to get our business done. Most of us have been here long enough that it feels like a second home, even with the stacks of boxes.
