Kodiya Ice Cream

We have been here in Village Kawal for a while now. Our place is right near the Prathmik School, which keeps things busy when the kids get out for the day. You know how it is in Fatehpura, the sun gets really hot in the afternoons and everyone just wants something cold to eat. We started Kodiya Ice Cream because there wasn't much around here back then. We just work out of this spot near the post office. It’s not a big fancy setup or anything like that. Just a small room with our freezers and the stock we keep. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to worry about the stock melting, which is a real headache for any of us working here. Most of the people who come by are just neighbors or parents picking up their children from school. We recognize almost everyone who walks through the door by now. It’s quiet in the mornings before the village wakes up properly. We spend that time getting things ready and cleaning up the floor. There isn’t much to say except we’re just here doing our thing every day. If you’re walking past the school or heading toward the post office, you’ll see our sign. It’s a simple life out here in the village, and we just try to keep the freezers running and the customers happy enough to come back tomorrow. That's pretty much our whole story.
