Khodiyar Estate

Khodiyar Estate is located in Gorwa, specifically in the Kothari Pole area. It’s an older part of the city with narrow lanes and a lot of history. Our office is right there in the middle of it all. We work on estate and property things for the people in this neighborhood. The space is quite basic, just enough room for a couple of desks and some filing cabinets for the records. Because we are in Kothari Pole, we see our neighbors every day. It’s the kind of place where everyone says hello when you walk by. We don’t really have a website or big posters. People just know we are here because we’ve been around for many years now. The building is traditional and fits right in with the other structures in Gorwa. It can get a bit crowded in the lanes during the festivals, but that’s just part of living and working here. We handle a lot of the paperwork that comes with buying or selling local property. It’s often a lot of back and forth with the property records. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for people to bring in their documents. The air in the office is usually thick with the smell of the nearby market and the sounds of scooters passing by the window. It’s not a corporate environment by any means. We are just regular people helping other regular people with their housing needs. That’s the long and short of it for Khodiyar Estate.
