J.S. Engineering

J.S. Engineering is based at 951/5/7 on Makarapura Road, right in the heart of the G.I.D.C. area. It’s an older part of the industrial estate, so the buildings have some character, or at least that's what we tell ourselves. We spend our time working on various engineering tasks, mostly machining parts for other companies. It’s precise work, and you have to pay attention or things go wrong quickly. The floor is usually a bit oily, and there’s always the sound of lathes or drills in the background. We aren't a massive operation with hundreds of employees. It’s a small team, and we all know each other well. Some of the guys have been here since the beginning. We don't have a fancy lobby; if you come to see us, you'll probably find us at one of the workbenches. Makarapura Road is always busy with trucks and people commuting, so there’s a lot of energy around. We’ve seen businesses come and go over the years, but we’ve managed to stay put by sticking to what we know. We don't promise miracles or use big words to describe what we do. We just take the drawings, set up the machines, and make the parts as best as we can. It’s practical work for people who appreciate things being done right. We're just a local engineering shop doing our bit in the GIDC.
