Jewel Brushes is located at 78 in the Suryakiran Complex on Old Padra Road. This area of Vadodara is always busy, and our complex is a hub for many different small businesses. We have been in this spot for a long time, and our unit is filled with the various parts and machines we use to make our brushes. It isn't a silent workplace; there is always the hum of machinery and the sound of people moving boxes around. We are a small group of people, and most of us have been working together for years. We don't really have a hierarchy here; everyone just pitches in where they are needed. If a shipment needs to go out, we all help pack it. If a machine breaks down, we spend the afternoon with our sleeves rolled up trying to fix it. We don't spend money on expensive marketing campaigns. Our customers find us because they know we make a solid product that doesn't fall apart. The office area is pretty small and usually has a bit of dust on the shelves from the production floor. We drink tea from the local vendor several times a day and talk about the news or the weather. It’s a very straightforward way to earn a living. We aren't trying to change the industry; we just want to keep making brushes that work well for the people who buy them.
