Jindal Aluminium Foils Pvt. Ltd. operates out of Plot No. 442 and 443. Having two plots gives us a decent amount of room to handle the aluminium rolls and the machinery we need. The place is often noisy because of the way the metal is processed, so we’ve all gotten used to talking a bit louder. It’s a very hands-on environment. We spend a lot of time checking the thickness of the foils and making sure the rolls are wound correctly. The lighting inside is bright so we can see what we are doing, but it can get pretty warm when the machines have been running all day. The address isn't hard to find if you know the area, but the two plots together make for a large building. We don't have a lot of decorations or anything like that. The walls are mostly covered with safety signs and schedules. We focus on the work at hand, which is getting the aluminium ready for whatever it’s going to be used for next. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting and moving things around. We take our breaks together and talk about the usual things, like the weather or what’s for lunch. It’s a straightforward workplace where people come to do a job and then go home. We just keep our heads down and make sure the foil keeps moving through the machines at Plot 442 and 443. The rolls are heavy.
