We set up shop at Plot No. 369-b-2 inside the GIDC Ind. Estate. It’s a standard industrial plot, nothing too fancy, but it serves our needs just fine. We’ve been here for several years now, and the neighbors all know us. We do manufacturing work, mostly stuff that people need for other machines. The building is a bit older, so the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we’ve got buckets for that. It’s just one of those things you deal with. Our team is small, mostly locals who have been doing this kind of work their whole lives. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or advertisements. We figure if we do a decent job, the work will keep coming. The machines we use are reliable, even if they aren't the newest models. We spend a lot of time cleaning up metal scraps and making sure the tools are where they belong. It gets pretty noisy when everything is running at once, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We take a lunch break together in the small area out back. It’s not a corporate environment at all. It’s just a place where we work hard and try to get things right. If you’re in the GIDC, you might have passed our gate a few times without noticing. We are just a plain workshop doing our best. Most of the time, the radio is playing somewhere in the background.
