Jayshree Collection

Jayshree Collection is located at 6 Krishna Complex on the Main Road in Gorwa. Being on the main road means it’s always busy outside. You can hear the bikes and cars zooming past all day long. I’ve got a lot of different outfits and pieces of clothing here. It’s a bit crowded inside because I try to fit as much as I can on the racks for people to see. I want them to have choices, you know? I spend a lot of time talking to customers, helping them find a size that actually fits them right. Some people stay for a long time just looking at every single item. I don't mind, as long as they don't knock too many things over. I have to be careful with the white fabrics because of the soot and dust from the road outside. I keep those in plastic covers. Every evening before I close the shop, I do a count of what we sold and what we need to get more of from the market. It’s a lot of work to keep the inventory straight in my head. My back usually aches by the time I pull the metal shutter down at night, but that’s just part of the job. It’s a good location though, and I like the people who live around Gorwa. They’re mostly hard-working folks who just want something nice to wear for a festival or a family party without spending too much money.
