Heer Cement Article. We are located over in Bobbili, specifically near Rahu Pura in the Pankhida area. It’s a quiet spot most days, which is nice for getting work done. We make different cement articles here, mostly things people need for their gardens or for small construction jobs. It’s not a huge factory, just a decent-sized yard where we pour the concrete into the forms and let them sit. I usually get here early before the sun gets too high because it’s a lot cooler then. We have some benches and flower pots we’ve made sitting out front. Sometimes people stop by just to look while they are passing through the neighborhood. My brother helps with the deliveries when he can get his old truck started. The mix has to be just right or the stuff cracks later on, so we spend a lot of time watching the drying process. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean, that’s for sure. My boots are always caked in dried cement and my hands are rough. We don't have a website or anything like that. People mostly just hear about us from their neighbors or see our sign on the road. We’ve had some tough months when the rain doesn't stop, since the cement won't dry, but we make do. It’s just a small family thing we’ve got going on here. We like being part of the local community.
