Guru Nanak Engineering & Plastic Works

We’re located over at 908 1 5 in the Gidc Estate, specifically in the Shiv Shakti Nagar area of Makarpura. This is an industrial zone, so our neighbors are all factories and workshops just like ours. At Guru Nanak Engineering & Plastic Works, we deal with a lot of heavy machinery and plastic molding equipment. The floor is usually pretty greasy, and there’s always the smell of hot plastic in the air. It’s not a place for someone who likes to keep their clothes clean. We have several old machines that we’ve maintained ourselves for years. They still work better than some of the newer stuff we’ve seen. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you want to see what we make, you just come into the back where the work is happening. Most of our orders are for specific industrial parts that other factories around Gidc need. We don't do much in the way of marketing. People usually find us because another shop owner told them we could handle a certain type of job. We work long hours when a big order comes in, and things can get a bit stressful, but we always manage to get through it. We aren't a corporate giant; we're just a group of guys who know how to work with metal and plastic. It's tough work, but it's what we do.
