Down in the GIDC Industrial Estate in Makarpura, you'll find us at 990/2-A/4J. Gunjan Engineering is one of those places where the floors are never quite clean because there is always work being done. We’ve got the machines running most of the day. The sound of metal on metal is just part of the background noise for us now. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not meant to be pretty. We deal with all kinds of engineering components and repairs. The guys here have been working with these tools for years. We aren't the type to wear suits or sit in air-conditioned offices all day. We’re usually in the back, checking specs or fixing a machine that decided to quit. Being in GIDC means we’re surrounded by other workshops, so there’s always someone to borrow a tool from or grab a chai with. It’s a gritty environment, but it’s where real work happens. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just take the order, look at the metal, and get to work. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit around and talk until it comes back on. It’s just how it is. We’ve been part of this estate for a long time. If you need something fabricated or fixed, you just walk in and ask for us. We don't mind the grease and the hard work as long as the job gets finished.
