Our place is located in the Mig Flats area of the Gujarat Housing Board, right over in Ellora Park. If you know where the Sree Saibaba Temple is, then you are already pretty close to us. It is a fairly quiet residential-style neighborhood, so we try not to be too loud with our daily activities. The building is at 47/301 and it has been there for a good number of years. You can see the temple crowds on certain days, which makes parking on the street a bit of a headache sometimes. Inside the office, it is mostly just people at their desks looking over papers or talking about engineering stuff. It is not a shiny new glass building like the ones you see in the bigger cities. It feels more like a lived-in space where actual work happens. There are some old trees outside that give a bit of shade in the afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait for it to come back on. We have got a few different rooms for different tasks. People usually walk up the stairs since the lift can be a bit temperamental. Vadodara is a good city to be in, and Ellora Park has everything you need nearby. We get some students or researchers stopping by to ask us questions now and then. We try to help them out. It is just a steady routine here every day.
