Gokul Engineering Works

Gokul Engineering Works is located out at Asoj L B S Road 855/D, which is part of the G I D C industrial area. Our workshop is filled with the sounds of metal being cut and machines running. It is a loud place and there is usually some grease on the floor, no matter how much we clean. We have big machines for different kinds of engineering jobs and benches covered in tools like wrenches and hammers. We spend our days working on parts for other businesses or fixing machines that have broken down. It’s hard work and our hands are usually dirty by the time we finish in the evening. The G I D C area is very busy with trucks moving in and out all day long on L B S Road. We have a small office space partitioned off with some old wood where we keep our drawings and papers. It’s not a place for sitting around; there is always something that needs to be welded or measured. We don't worry about being fancy here. We just focus on getting the metal work done right so the machines can go back to working again. Sometimes it gets very hot in the summer under the tin roof, so we drink a lot of water and keep the big doors open for a breeze. It’s a practical business for practical needs in the Asoj area and we've been doing this for many years now.
