Laxmi Engineering Company

We are located over at 1101-1102 in the Palej GIDC area. It’s pretty much what you’d expect from an engineering shop in this part of Gujarat. The machines run most of the day and there is always a layer of dust on the windows from the road outside. We started Laxmi Engineering Company because we knew how to work with metal and people around here needed parts made. It isn't a fancy office with air conditioning in every room. Usually, you’ll find us out on the floor checking on a lathe or talking to one of the guys about a specific measurement. We mostly deal with local orders and people we’ve known for years. It gets loud when everything is running at once, but that’s just how it goes. We drink tea twice a day, usually standing up near the front gate. There’s no big corporate board here, just us trying to get the jobs done right so the customers don't have to come back with complaints. We keep things simple. If a machine breaks, we fix it. If a client needs a specific piece of work, we see if we can do it. Most days are long, but we like being in the middle of the industrial estate.
