Viraj Engineering Works

Viraj Engineering Works is based out of Plot No. 1027. We are a small engineering shop and we basically handle whatever comes through the door. It might be some welding one morning and then some heavy fabrication the next afternoon. We don't have any polished mission statements or big offices. Our office is basically just a desk in the corner of the shop where we keep the invoices and some old catalogs. The floor is made of hard concrete and it’s seen a lot of heavy parts dragged across it over the years. We use machines that are old but reliable, and we know how to fix them ourselves when they break down. It gets pretty loud when the hammers are going or the saws are cutting through thick plate, but that’s the sound of work being done. We don't really do any promotion. Most of our work comes from people nearby who know we are at 1027 and can handle the job. It’s a bit of a rough-and-ready place, with iron dust and bits of wire around, but we try to sweep up at the end of the week. We just want to do the work, get it right, and move on to the next task. There’s no corporate fluff here, just a bunch of guys who know how to work with metal. We’ve been here a good while and we plan to stay right where we are.
