Mak Engineers

Down at No. 807 in the G. I. D. C. Estate in Waghodia, things are usually pretty noisy. That is just how an engineering shop is. We have the machines running most of the day. Mak Engineers is just the name on the sign outside, but inside it is mostly just us working with steel and various parts. The floor is concrete and it has seen a lot of wear over the years. We started out small and stayed that way because it is easier to manage the quality of what we make ourselves. You won't find any suit-and-tie types working here. We wear work clothes that get dirty by ten in the morning. Waghodia is a good area for this kind of work because everyone around here is doing something similar. If we need a specific tool or a bit of help with a heavy lift, the neighbors are usually around to help out. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the cuts are right. It is tedious sometimes, but if you do not pay attention, you waste expensive material. Nobody wants that to happen. We have a small office for the phone and the ledger, but most of the time we are out on the floor. It is honest work. We take the jobs as they come, whether they are big orders or just a single part someone needs fixed. We know the rhythms of the estate.
