Delite Engineers Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of 935/1 & 2 in the G.I.D.C. Industrial Estate for quite some time. It’s a big space, and we needed those two units to keep everything organized. I remember when we first moved in, the floor was empty and it felt huge, but now it’s full of equipment and parts. The industrial estate has changed a lot over the years, more traffic and more dust mostly. Working here means getting used to the sound of heavy machinery next door. We start the day by checking the schedule and seeing what needs finishing. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps the lights on and everyone paid. Some of the guys have been with us since the start. We drink a lot of chai and try to stay out of the sun when it gets really hot in the afternoon. The address is easy to find once you get past the main gate of G.I.D.C. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name on the door. There’s always something that needs fixing or an order that's running a bit behind, but we manage to get through it. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we just want to do the work right and go home to our families. It’s a regular shop with regular people doing regular things. Sometimes the trucks block the road, but that’s just part of being in an industrial zone.
