Our main shop is located in Baroda, which is a great place for an engineering firm like ours because of all the industry around here. We have been operating under the Gaytech name for a good number of years now. Baroda has a lot of history with manufacturing, and we feel like we are a small part of that tradition. We mostly spend our time working on technical things, like fixing broken machinery parts or creating small components that other local businesses need to keep their own operations running. It is very detailed work, even if the floor of the shop gets a bit oily and messy during the day. That is just how a real workshop looks when people are actually working. We have a mix of older machines that have been reliable for decades and some newer equipment that we are still getting used to. The summer heat in Baroda can be really intense, so we keep the big fans blowing and just try to stay focused on the task at hand. We are not some giant company with hundreds of employees and fancy offices. If someone needs something, they usually just come in and talk to one of us directly. Our clothes are rarely clean by the time five o'clock rolls around, but that shows we have been productive. We usually eat our lunch together in the back and just talk about everyday things that happened during the week.
