Gayatri Saree

Our shop is at number 5 inside Saideep Chambers. This is located on Intax Lane in Vadodara. It’s a bit of a quiet lane, which we like, but it does make finding a parking spot for a car nearly impossible. Most of our customers just park further away and walk over to us. We have been in this location for a good many years. The shop is quite small and we have sarees stacked on every shelf from the floor to the ceiling. We don't have any of those fancy mannequins or bright spotlights you see in the big malls. It’s just a simple room with a couple of benches where people can sit and look at the fabrics. My wife and I run the place ourselves. We don't have any employees or a fancy computer system. We still use a handwritten ledger for all our sales. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't do any advertising or big sales events. People mostly hear about us from their friends or family. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered when we have new stock coming in. We have to move piles of cloth around just to let people walk inside. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just enjoy the daily routine of running the shop. If you’re in the area, feel free to stop by. We are not always strictly on time with our opening hours, but we are usually here most days. It is a quiet life.
