Express Engineers

Our shop is located at No 336/24 in the Makarpura GIDC Industrial Area. We are situated right near the Boss Mark building. This is a very large industrial zone, and it is pretty easy for people to get lost if they are not familiar with the layout of the plots. Express Engineers has been operating here for many years now. We handle a lot of fabrication and general engineering tasks for many of the other businesses that are located nearby. The building itself is a straightforward industrial shed with high ceilings and large sliding doors that we keep open to let the air circulate. It can get very loud inside when the grinders and welding machines are all going at the same time. We have a small office space built on a mezzanine level that looks out over the shop floor, but we rarely spend much time up there. Most of our day is spent down on the floor with the rest of the crew. We do not have a human resources department or any fancy managers. If there is an issue with a project, we just gather around the workbench and figure it out together. The lunch hour is usually the only quiet time we get, and we all sit together at a big table. The driveway is often dusty because of all the trucks coming in and out. It is not a stylish place, but it is where we do our best work.
