If you head down to the GIDC Industrial Estate in Por Ramangamdi, you will find Esquire Machines Pvt.Ltd. at plot number 316. It is right in the middle of the district's industrial hub, so the air usually smells like grease and hot metal. We have a decent-sized shed where we keep the heavy stuff. It is a loud environment, honestly. Between the welding and the grinding, you have to raise your voice to be heard. We have a crew that has been around for years. They know the machines inside out. The floors are concrete and usually have a few oil stains, but that is part of the job. We do not spend much time in the front office because the real work happens on the shop floor. It gets pretty dusty out here in the estate, especially during the dry months. We have our routine. Start early, get the machines warmed up, and work through the list. We deal with a lot of heavy parts and metal frames. It is physical work, and by the end of the day, everyone is ready to head home. We do not do much in the way of fancy talk.
