Engraver & Engineering Works

Engraver & Engineering Works is located at 992/4/2 near Satranjiwala Chowk in the Vadsar area. It’s a bit of a dusty place because of the engraving and the metalwork we do every day. We’ve got machines that make a fair bit of noise, but that’s just the sound of things getting done. We work on all kinds of small engineering jobs that people bring in. Sometimes it’s a piece for a machine and other times it’s something more decorative. We’ve been at this spot for a long time and the locals know the sound of our workshop. Satranjiwala Chowk is usually quite busy, so there is always something going on outside our door. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything. It’s just a workshop where we keep our tools and the materials we need. Our floors are usually covered in metal shavings by noon, and we sweep up when we can. It’s the kind of work where you have to pay attention to the details, or else you mess up the whole piece. We aren't trying to be the biggest engineering shop in town, just the one that stays reliable for the folks in Vadsar. We take the work as it comes and try to do a decent job of it. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the equipment, but we know where everything is. That’s just how our shop operates on a daily basis. We stay busy with the metal and the tools.
