Dilip Engineers

Our workshop is at 397 Lamington Road in Makarpura. It’s a very industrial part of town, so there's always the sound of machinery and big trucks going by. Dilip Engineers isn't a fancy place with a lobby or a receptionist. You walk in and you're pretty much in the middle of the work area. We’ve got lathes, drills, and piles of metal scraps in the corners. The floor is usually a bit greasy, which is just how it goes in this line of work. Most of us have been working with our hands for years and we know how the machines sound when they’re working right. We do a lot of custom repairs and making parts for people who can't find them anywhere else. It’s dusty and loud, but we like it. We wear our blue overalls and don't worry too much about the grease on our hands. If you need to talk to someone, you usually have to wait for a machine to stop so we can hear you properly. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, and we know most of the other shop owners on Lamington Road. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most people find us by word of mouth or because they saw the sign while driving past in their truck. We just focus on getting the job done right so the customer can get back to their own work. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and we're used to it.
