D.C. Engineering

Our shop is at Plot No-46 and 47 in the Sunrise Estate. We are right behind the Elecorn Engineering Company in Vidhya Nagar. It’s a good spot for an engineering outfit like ours. We have been working out of these two plots for quite a few years now. The space is mostly filled with machines and pieces of metal that we are working on. D.C. Engineering is basically just me and a few guys who know their way around a lathe. We do a bit of everything when it comes to mechanical stuff. People bring in broken parts and ask if we can fix them or make a new one from scratch. It’s usually pretty oily in there and the floor is never really clean no matter how much we sweep. Vidhya Nagar is full of businesses like this, so we fit right in. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit around and wait for it to come back so we can finish a job. We don’t have a big sales team or anything like that. People just hear about us from other shops in the estate. We try to be fair with the prices and just do the work as it comes. Plot 46 is the main workshop and 47 is where we store the raw materials. It gets cramped, especially when a big order comes in. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the tools.
