Dave Solanki Associates

Dave Solanki Associates has been based in Alkapuri for a long time. Our office is in Devidas Chawl, specifically at number 119. It’s a tight space but we have everything we need right here. I started this with a few associates because we wanted to work for ourselves. Alkapuri is a busy area and being in the chawl means we see a lot of people every single day. The building is older, so it has its quirks, like the squeaky floorboards and the narrow hallway. We don't mind it much. It feels like home after all these years. Most of our day is spent on the phone or meeting with people who drop by. We don't have a fancy reception area or a big sign. Most people just know us by name. It’s a practical way to run things. We keep our costs down and just focus on the task at hand. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with all the papers stacked on the tables. We try to keep it neat but that doesn't always happen when we are in the middle of a big project. Being at number 119 has served us well. We know the local shops and the people who work next door. It’s a good community to be part of. We’re just regular people trying to do a solid job every day. There is no corporate ladder here, just us working together.
