D Pathak Associates

We are situated in Sayajigunj on Demonte Street, specifically at B L 204 5. It’s an interesting part of town with a lot of history. The building we are in is a bit older, which gives it some character, though the lift can be temperamental sometimes. D Pathak Associates is a small operation. We have a couple of rooms where we keep all our files and equipment. It’s not a fancy place with marble floors or anything like that. Just plain tiles and some functional furniture. I’ve spent many years in this office. You get to know the sounds of the street, the vendors shouting, and the motorcycles zooming by. We don't have a big corporate structure. If something needs to be done, one of us just does it. There’s no management to ask for permission. We keep things very informal. Most of the people who come to see us are regulars. We sit down, have a chat, and get to the point. It’s a very practical way of doing things. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat at my desk while looking at the news. The light in the afternoon is quite nice through the big windows. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to stay busy and stay out of trouble. Sayajigunj has been good to us over the years.
