Our office is tucked away in Axata Society, right near Anand Nagar in the Karelibaug area of Baroda. It’s a nice enough neighborhood, mostly quiet, which is good when you’re trying to concentrate on floor plans. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. It’s basically just a regular space where we keep our computers and all the old blueprints we’ve worked on over the years. We handle architectural stuff for local residents and some small businesses too. It’s not a high-rise office or anything like that. Most days involve us sitting around a table arguing about where a window should go or how to save a bit of space in a kitchen layout. We know Gujarat well, especially this part of Baroda. We don’t really bother with big advertisements. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors or friends who had us help with their houses. We try to be sensible with our designs. There’s no point in making something that looks good but doesn’t actually work for the family living there. We have a few people working here, and we all pretty much do a bit of everything. From site visits to final drawings, we’re involved in the whole process. It’s busy, but we like the work. If you’re around Karelibaug, you might see us out grabbing a snack or heading to a site. We’re just regular people trying to do a decent job for clients.
