D D M Engineering Works

You can find D D M Engineering Works over by Channi Naka on Lazar Road. We are quite close to Kumkum Hall, which is a big landmark that helps people find us when they are lost. Our shop is a bit of a traditional engineering space. We do a lot of welding, cutting, and metalwork. There are sparks flying pretty often and the sound of grinders is just part of the background here. It isn't the cleanest place because of all the iron and steel we move around, but we try to keep the workbench clear enough to work on. We mostly take on jobs from local people who need something fixed or a specific bracket made. We have been at this Lazar Road location for quite a while now. The building is solid but shows its age in the corners. We don't have any sales people or a marketing strategy. We just open the shutters in the morning and see what the day brings. Sometimes a big project comes in that takes a week, other times it is just small five-minute fixes. We like being part of the Channi Naka community. It’s a busy area with a lot of movement. We just keep our tools sharp and our hands busy. It is hard work but it is what we know how to do.
