D D Engineering Works

We are located out in the GIDC Industrial Estate in Asoj, right on Rajkumar Road. Our workshop is in D Block, part of the second stage of the estate. It’s not the quietest place to be because there is always some kind of machinery running nearby. We are right near the GPL company, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. Our daily routine involves a lot of metal, tools, and heavy lifting. The floor of the shop usually has some dust or metal shavings on it, no matter how much we sweep. It’s an industrial area, so it’s more about getting the job done than having a pretty office. We have been working out of this spot for a while. The sun hits the metal roof pretty hard in the summer, so it gets quite warm in the afternoons. We usually have the fans going full blast. Most of our guys have been here for years and they know the machines inside out. We handle various engineering tasks, mostly fixing things or making parts that people need for their own businesses. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. Sometimes a truck gets stuck in the narrow lane outside, and we all have to go out and help. That’s just how it is around here. We don't have a fancy lobby, just the workspace and a small desk for paperwork. It can be noisy and messy, but we are used to it.
