Chetan Co.

If you look for us near the Post Office in Raopura, you’ll find Chetan Co. tucked away in Kansara Pol. We are very close to M.G Road, which is always buzzing with people and all sorts of vehicles. Being in a "Pol" means the lanes are narrow and there is a lot of history in the buildings and the families around us. Our shop is quite old-fashioned, the kind where you recognize the smell of the place as soon as you walk in. We don’t have bright neon signs or anything like that to attract attention. It is just a wooden counter, some old shelves, and plenty of stock piled up to the ceiling. My family has been in this spot for years, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit as the city grew. Even though M.G Road has become so modern and fast, our little corner in Kansara Pol still feels like the old days. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors and the people who have been coming to us for decades. Sometimes it’s hard for new people to find us because of the winding alleys, but once they do, they usually come back again. We keep a physical ledger for our accounts and do things the traditional way. It might seem slow to some younger people, but it works for us and our customers. We aren't looking to expand into a huge mall. We are happy right here near the post office.
