C. J. Engineering Works

We have been at 285, G.I.D.C. in Makarpura for quite a while now. It’s a busy industrial estate, so there is always a lot of noise from the nearby shops and trucks moving around all day. C. J. Engineering Works is basically just a workshop where we get things done. Some days it is very busy and other days we are just cleaning up the machines or waiting for materials to arrive. The address is easy to find if you know the Makarpura area, but the traffic can get pretty bad around lunch time. We usually have the big doors open so the air moves through because it gets very hot in the summer here. Most people just drop by when they need something fixed or built. We don't really do fancy paperwork, just mostly practical stuff that needs doing. The guys here have been working together for years, so we know how the machines are supposed to sound when they are running right. Sometimes things break and we have to fix our own gear before we can even start on a customer’s job. That is just how it goes in a place like this. We have plenty of tools and parts scattered around, but we know where everything is. If you come by, you’ll see us in our work gear. It’s not a quiet office, that’s for sure. We just keep our heads down and handle the engineering work that comes through the door.
