Preci-Turn Engineers

Our workshop, Preci-Turn Engineers, is located at 4/18 in the B.I.D.C. area of Gorwa. If you know the industrial estate here, you know it’s a place where everyone is busy making something. We specialize in turning and machine work. We have a few lathes and some other equipment that keeps us busy all day long. It’s greasy and there are metal shavings everywhere, but that’s a machine shop for you. We started this place because we liked working with our hands. It’s not a big company. It’s just a few of us who know how to handle the machines. We get orders from other factories nearby that need specific parts made to size. We don't have a sales team. Usually, the owner of another shop just walks in and asks if we can do a job. We look at the drawings, tell them if we can do it, and get to work. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole day fixing them, which is frustrating but part of the life. We’ve been in Gorwa for years and have seen the area change quite a bit. But our little corner stays pretty much the same. We just try to make parts that fit right. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just engineering and turning. If the part works, we’re happy. We like it that way and just keep things moving.
