Bhagwati Engineering Works

You can find Bhagwati Engineering Works at No. 102 in G.I.D.C Por. We are right off National Highway No. 8, which is convenient for getting things moved around. Being in an industrial area means there is always a lot of activity and humming machines. Our unit isn't the biggest one in the park, but it is enough for what we do. The concrete floor has some oil stains and the walls have some scratches from moving heavy parts around. That is just the nature of engineering work. We usually have the radio playing in the background, mostly just for some noise. The heat can get pretty intense inside during the afternoons, so we take our breaks when the sun is at its highest. There is a small tea stall just down the road where everyone from the G.I.D.C goes. We have a lot of tools and machines that we have collected over the years. Some are newer, but many are old favorites that still run perfectly fine. We don't spend much money on decorations or fancy signs. Most of our visitors are truck drivers or other shop owners from around Por Raman Gamdi. We talk about the weather or the traffic on the highway. It is a practical place for practical people. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just work hard and try to get the jobs done on time.
