Balaji Engineers

Balaji Engineers is located at 405 in the GIDC Estate over in Por-Ramangamdi. It’s a bit outside Vadodara city, so it’s a quiet drive out here most mornings. The estate is full of all kinds of workshops and small factories. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and we’ve seen a lot of neighbors come and go. Our work is engineering, which basically means we spend a lot of time with tools and machines. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean all day, but we don't mind. The office part of our building is simple, just a place to keep the books and take phone calls. Sometimes the roads in the GIDC get a bit flooded when it rains heavily, but we still show up. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation because we aren't one. It’s just a few of us who know how to fix things and make parts. We have a lot of regular customers from the nearby areas who just drop by when they have a problem. We usually have a pot of tea going and we’re happy to chat about what needs doing. It’s a very practical life out here in Por. We don't make big promises, we just look at the work and tell you if we can do it. Most of the time, we can.
