B. & K. Industries

We are located at 161/162 in the G.I.D.C. Estate over in Makarpura. B. & K. Industries has been operating out of these two units for quite a while. It’s a typical industrial setup. There is always the sound of machinery and people moving crates around. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the address on the gate. Inside, it’s mostly just work space. We have a small office tucked in the corner where we keep the records. It gets pretty dusty, but that’s the nature of being in an industrial estate. We handle a lot of different manufacturing stuff. It's not the kind of thing you see on TV, just regular industrial parts and pieces. Our team is small, mostly guys from around the area who have been doing this for years. We don't really have a marketing department. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door. We just focus on getting the orders out on time. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we have to scramble to fix it. It's part of the job. We don’t pretend to be something we’re not. We are just a local business trying to do a decent job every day. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break. It’s a simple life but it keeps us busy.
