Ashok M Ghee Wala

Ashok M Ghee Wala is a name many people in Raopura know. We've been in this area for a long time. My name is Ashok, and I run the place. It's a small shop, and honestly, it smells like ghee all day long, which I've grown used to. I don't have a big marketing department or a fancy brand logo. It's just my name on the board outside. I get my supplies from the same people I've known for years. Trust is a big thing in this business. I spend a lot of time weighing out portions and talking to the regular customers who come by every week. Some of them I’ve known since they were kids. The shop itself is quite plain. I have some wooden counters and a few big containers. It’s not the kind of place that looks modern, but it works for what we do. I don't really use a computer for my sales; I just write everything down in a big book. My son helps out during the festivals when it gets really busy. Raopura is a crowded place, and sometimes it's hard to even get to the door, but we manage. I don't have any big plans to expand or anything. I just want to keep doing what I’m doing as long as I can. It's a simple life and a simple business. I usually close up around eight in the evening.
