You’ll find Ankur Engineers located at Plot No. 992/1/19 in the GIDC area of Makarpura. This part of town is strictly for industry, so we are surrounded by all kinds of factories and workshops. It’s a gritty place where things actually get built, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. Our plot is filled with the various machines and tools we need for our engineering projects. We don't have a corporate office with carpets; it’s just concrete floors and the smell of metal and oil. Our crew knows the equipment inside out and we spend most of our time fabrication and assembling various components. Some days are spent on very precise small parts, while other days we are moving heavy pieces around the floor. The dust in GIDC is something you just learn to live with after a few weeks. We don't spend money on fancy websites or marketing people. Most of our work comes from being reliable and getting the jobs done when we say we will. It’s a no-nonsense environment where we value practical skills over anything else. When the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just take a break and wait it out. It’s just the reality of working in an industrial zone. We’ve been here long enough to know the rhythms of the area and we like the steady pace of it.
