The office here at Siddrath Complex stays busy most days, especially since we are right at the Jodhpur Cross Road. I usually get in early to open up the shutters and get the fans going before the afternoon heat really kicks in. Being in Alkapuri means there is always someone walking by or popping their head in to ask about what is available in the neighborhood. We have been sitting at this same desk for a long time now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking through old files and paperwork that seems to pile up on the corners of the table. It is not a fancy setup, just a few chairs and a working computer. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but you get used to the sound of the horns and the people chatting near the entrance. We handle things as they come. There is no big corporate manual here, just us trying to keep track of the listings and making sure the keys are where they should be. If the tea stall guy is around, we usually take a break around four. It is a simple way of working, but it keeps us moving. People know where to find us because we have been at 133 Alkapuri for so long. It is just a regular local spot where we deal with property stuff every day.
