American School of Baroda is located out on Ajwa Nimeta Road, which is a bit of a drive from the main center of Vadodara. The area around here is still developing, so you see a lot of open land and some construction as you head toward the school. Our campus is quite spread out, and we have several buildings for the different grades. It’s a place that feels a bit more open than the schools right in the city. In the mornings, the road gets busy with buses and vans bringing students in from all over. Inside the gates, you’ll find the usual mix of classrooms, some labs, and a big playground where the students hang out during their lunch hour. The weather in Vadodara can be pretty tough, so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans are working and the water coolers are full. The staff here come from different backgrounds, and we just try to keep the daily schedule moving along. It’s a practical environment where the focus is really just on the day-to-day lessons and getting through the year. You’ll often see teachers chatting in the corridors or parents waiting in the reception area to talk about their kids' progress. It’s just a normal, busy school where everyone is trying to do their part without making too much of a fuss about it. We just focus on the daily work here.
