We are based at No. 903/1 in the Makarpura GIDC Estate. If you know Vadodara at all, you know that Makarpura is where all the real heavy lifting happens. Being inside the GIDC means we are surrounded by the constant hum of machines and the smell of metal and oil, which is just the way we like it. Our unit at 903/1 isn't huge, but it is enough space for us to handle everything we need to do. The roads inside the estate are always busy with tempos and lorries, so there is a certain rhythm to the day that starts early and doesn't really let up until late. We’ve spent a lot of years in this specific spot, and we know the layout of the estate like the back of our hands. The canteen nearby is where we usually end up for lunch, catching up with people from the neighboring engineering firms. It’s a practical environment where people value hard work and straightforward talk. There isn’t much room for fluff in a place like Makarpura. We keep our tools organized, our workspace clean as possible, and we just focus on the projects in front of us. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big order comes in or something needs fixing, but that’s just part of being in this line of work in a place like GIDC.
