We are located down at 917/1 in the GIDC area of Makarpura. It's an industrial spot, so there is always a lot of noise and trucks moving around outside. Adi Artech Transducers Pvt Ltd, has been operating from this floor for quite some time now. We spend most of our hours looking at transducers and making sure the sensors are reading what they should. The air in the shop usually smells like solder and warm metal. It is hard work, and your back might ache by five o'clock, but it feels good to see the finished units boxed up and ready to go. We aren't interested in making things look pretty for a catalog; we just want the components to do their job without failing. Makarpura is a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat, but we have our fans going and we keep at it. Most of the guys here have been with us for years and know the machines better than they know their own cars. We drink a lot of tea and talk about how to fix the older equipment when it acts up. It is a practical way to make a living. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. If the transducer works, then we did our job right for the day. That is the main thing we care about at the end of every week.
