Shivalik International Convent School

We’ve been here on Talwara Road in Dehra for quite a while now. If you know this part of Kangra, you know it gets a bit busy during the mornings when everyone is heading out. Shivalik International Convent School is just a regular place where we try to keep things running smooth for the kids. It’s not fancy, but it works for the families around here. Most days start early, usually before the sun gets too high over the hills. We spend a lot of time just making sure the classrooms are tidy and the gates are open on time. There is always something needing a bit of repair or a bit of paint, but that is just how it goes with an old building. People in 177101 know where we are, right along the main road. We don't have a big office with people in suits or anything. It’s mostly just us teachers and the staff trying to figure out the week's schedule and making sure the lunch break happens when it’s supposed to. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit muddy out front, but we deal with it. It’s a quiet life here in Dehra mostly, and we are just glad to have a place where the local kids can come every day. We don’t really do big speeches or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and go home when the bell rings. It's a simple way to spend the day.
